Dear Students and Parents,

 Last few spaces remaining

The Making it into Medicine Course is happening this weekend on the 18th July from 12:00-17.00pm. at the University of Hertfordshire, but there is still time to register.  Please also remember that there are funded spaces allocated for students who are from low-income backgrounds or receiving free school meals.

This is an invaluable opportunity for students to learn about all aspects of the medical application, from doctors who have successfully been through the process.  It is also open to students from years 10-12. Parents and teachers are also welcome to attend.

'Making it into Medicine' has been designed to encourage students who are contemplating a career in medicine, to provide advice on applications to medical school and will cover a range of useful topics such as personal statements, organising work experience, interviews and CV building.

The course will be delivered by Dr Sivayoganathan and Dr Kennedy, who are excellent speakers with outstanding CVs and a wealth of experience including sitting on interview panels.

For more details about the course and to book please visit www.medicmentor.org   Student registration is £45.00, but for parents and teachers registration is £25.  Students will receive a free course workbook and CV pack.  Many students and parents have found this course extremely useful in the past and you can view their video feedback here: http://www.medicmentor.org/making-it-into-medicine-course.html
