EVENTS FOR YEAR 12 STUDENTS SUMMER 2015
Corpus Christi Cambridge is pleased to announce the following
events for high achieving Year 12 students thinking of applying to Cambridge
this October.
Shakespeare Masterclass Thursday 27 August
For students thinking of applying for English at Cambridge this
Masterclass includes a lecture on Shakespeare, a talk by the Admissions Tutor
on preparing a competitive application, lunch in College and finishes with the
matinee performance of the Globe Theatre’s travelling production of Much Ado
About Nothing in the Master’s Lodge Garden at Corpus.

STEM women Summer School 27 to 29 August
This is a three day residential summer school for female students
thinking of applying for STEM subjects at university. Students will
attend a series of lectures by Cambridge academics on a variety of STEM topics,
gain experience in conducting and communicating research, and attend talks and
events aimed at widening participation for, and fostering dialogue between,
young women in STEM.
All students attending the STEM Summer School will be accommodated
within the College and all meals will be provided.

Schools are invited to nominate those students who are predicted
to achieve our standard offer of A*AA for Arts subjects and A*A*A for STEM
subjects or equivalent.
Both events are free and nominations are invited from all schools
in the UK. Schools may nominate up to two students. Preference will
be given to schools from the maintained sector with a history of sending few
students to Cambridge.
The closing date for nominations for both events is June 30 2015.
