Subject Masterclasses provide academically able Year 12 students with the opportunity to explore subjects they are interested in studying at university and may not have previously experienced. Each event includes two lectures, an introduction to the admissions process, and the chance to hear about student life from current undergraduates. There is a charge of £10 per student to cover event costs, with free places available to those in receipt of a 16-19 Bursary, Discretionary Learner Support, Looked-after Children, and those from families in receipt of Income Support.

Following on from the success of last year’s events, we have increased the number of Masterclasses offered in 2015. We held a number of events earlier in the spring, and have more scheduled this month. The Masterclasses currently open for booking are:

Friday 19 June

Chemistry
Geography and Land Economy

Saturday 20 June

Please book a place or register your interest for future events on the Masterclass website.
