We’re pleased to confirm that Apply 2016 for applicants
is now live!

This means students planning to go to uni next year can begin

their applications now.
However, they won’t be able to submit them to UCAS until September
 – but they have plenty
of time to register, find out what/where they want to study, and get an
 overview of the
 admissions process.

The announcement’s been made across our social media channels,

and all students
who’ve registered for one of our conventions will be notified too.

For students
Our personal statement advice page is a great place for your students

to begin. The personal statement is probably the most time-consuming
part of the application.
Our advice includes a video, a personal statement timeline, a mind map,
and a worksheet to help your students through the process.

We’ve also put together a step-by-step Apply 2016 video. Our new

video wall is worth looking at too – it contains ‘how-to’ videos and advice from
current undergraduates on what to expect.

For parents
We’ve produced an interactive parent tool which gives a top level overview

of the entire application journey. It’s user-friendly and packed with useful
information and advice.

We’ve also created a series of 90 second videos, illustrating how parents

can best support their son or daughter throughout the application journey.
They include advice on how to apply, open days, and funding and finance
information.

Our 2016 Parent Guide is essential reading for anyone helping a

student navigate the admissions process (also available in Welsh),
and our monthly newsletters give parents timely advice and updates
 every few weeks.
