We are hosting a fun and informative event to provide an insight into careers in computing for those considering studying computing at university.  Places at this event are limited and are being offered in the first instance through local schools, so I hope that you will be happy to send this link http://www.buckingham.ac.uk/event/computing-taster-event-15-july-2016/ on to students at your school, who may be interested.

15 July 2016 14:00 - 16:00

The Department of Applied Computing at the University of Buckingham will be holding a fun and informative showcase afternoon for those interested in studying BSc Computing or one of our many BSc Computing/minor combinations.

The event will take place at the Franciscan Building on our Verney Park Campus and anyone interested in studying Computing (and their parents) are welcome to attend.

A Computing degree represents a tremendous opportunity for personal and career development and, by attending this session, you will know more about why studying Computing at university is your first step towards this truly rewarding career.  This showcase afternoon will give prospective students an insight into how we deliver the Computing degree and how you will benefit from being taught in small groups with lots of individually-focused teaching.

This session take place at the Franciscan Building (see campus map and directions to Buckingham). Parents are welcome to attend.

Please see Mrs Jenkins in the 6th Form Office for further details.
